Ruby tiger Moth Phragmatobia fuliginosa has two broods a year in the south in April and June and again in aguust and september . In the north of the UK however it flies in just one brood in June the caterpillars eat many plants but in some areas Ragwort is a very important foodplant. It is double-brooded in the south, flying in April to June, and again in August and September. In the north there is just one generation, in June.
